This image is of the nearby galaxy NGC 4605, the subject of my first paper (see my research page) -- 1.8m telescope, Lowell Observatory

Jupiter, taken during a very cloudy night (so as not to completely saturate the CCD) with the 1.8m telescope at Lowell Observatory. The colors represent the light Jupiter is emitting from hydrogen (red), doubly ionized oxygen (green), and singly ionized oxygen (blue). This should be pretty close to true color. Two of the Galilean moons are also visible to the left and right of Jupiter.
