Alan Bagish is a member of the technical staff of the Observatories of the Carnegie Institution of Washington He is responsible for the maintenance and engineering of the 100" Du Pont and 40" Swope telescopes at Las Campanas Observatory in Chile. He designed and built the electronics for the DDI Infra-red camera, the motion control system for LDSS2, IMACS, MIKE Fiber, WFCCD, the 40" Swope telescope and assorted other systems.
